Dave McGuire, lead engineer and president of MSS, started providing technical consulting services on a freelance basis since leaving the world of startup company employment in the early 2000s. Starting out in electronics more than forty years ago at the tender age of seven, he has been involved in all manner of projects and companies, from private sector software development, to Internet service provider work, to defense-related hardware design for the US Government.
After relocating in 2011 to the Pittsburgh area, a hotbed of science and technology, Dave began working with other independent engineers, and established McGuire Scientific Services, LLC in 2014 to bring an organizational framework to these efforts.
